Macdonald Henderson was delighted to present at the latest in the series of Business Journey events at 29 in Royal Exchange Square, Glasgow.

Continuing the theme of providing practical guidance to the SME market, Head of Dispute Resolution Alan McKee spoke on the subject of “Court v Commerciality” in which he shared his insights into the reality of conflict resolution in a commercial setting and highlighted changes in attitudes, court procedure and approach to commercial disputes over the past decade.

Alan’s presentation was preceded by an insightful talk from Susan Grandfield of SG Development Solutions (“It’s All in your Mind”) exploring the importance of controlling thought processes and the impact that this has on positive decision making and followed by Martin Edgar of Edgar Property Solutions (“Mediation – the New Kid on the Block”) who shared his experience as an accredited mediator and the growth of mediation as a common alternative to traditional forms of dispute resolution.
